New 2nd Engineer: Nate Spainhower
In an attempt to offer up more hours of operation, different perspectives, and even more affordable pricing, Anchor Recordings welcomes Nate Spainhower to the team as the new 2nd Engineer.
Nate brings to the team over 20 years experience as a consumate, professionally trained musician. His primary instrument is drums/percussion, however his many years touring/playing with other professional musicians has lent him tons of applicable experience with many instruments and the recording arts. He's been involved with many recording projects and has worked with several notable engineers/producers in the indie world. Nate is very familiar with all styles of music, but especially the heavier styles, having been a member of the bands Racebannon, Hurst, Sky By Sorella, Hotshit, Medusa and Deathtrap.
Nate will be available for sessions starting in late January at a flat rate of $20/hr (as compared to the higher rates for 1st Engineer). He can be contacted directly at spainhower.nathan@gmail.com or through the message feature on this myspace page.
*Minimum session time for second engineer is 4 hours or $80.
