Studios A & B
You might be wondering what the difference is between Studio A and Studio B and why and when to choose one over the other. Here's your explanation:
Studio A
Studio A is a fully-capable studio with more than an enough inputs and plenty of great gear and Mogami and Canare wiring. It has a very large and great sounding tracking room perfect for big and reverberant drums and anything else that sounds good with room mics (like guitars, choirs, percussion, etc). It also has a super-dry vocal booth ideal for professional vocal and voiceover applications and is large enough for amp and instrument isolations. If you need to track a whole band live, this is the obvious choice. The control room is large, and specifically designed for mixing and mastering with a variety of monitor speakers for playback.
Studio B
Studio B is a more affordable and modest studio. It has plenty of good gear and still has a tracking and control room, each the size of a large bedroom. There's plenty of space to track live instruments, but not the best choice if you need "big room sounds." It's a great place to track parts of your album, or even the whole thing if you're on a budget or an especially good choice if your project does not require a full-band for tracking.
*Keep in mind that instruments and microphones are shared between both studios, but Studio A has priority for gear if dual sessions are booked.
