Recently we expanded and upgraded our facility in a major way, completely changing the kind of studio that Anchor Recordings was. You will have to see it to believe it, but looking through the pictures on this site and listening to our recordings should be a good indicator that we have moved beyond a focused project studio into a full-sized professional facility. We now offer a very large Studio A and a fully functional Studio B, plus even more amenities you'd only expect from far more expensive studios.
Some of our new improvements include:
- 4500+ sq ft facility with 2 full studios, each with different rates
- Highly functional and great sounding rooms and isolation booth
- More engineers with different backgrounds, each specializing in certain genres
- An upgraded and enlarged selection of equipment
- 24-hours of availability, 7 days a week
- Three DAW Platforms
Our new location is on the Northeast side of Indianapolis, just off of I-465 conveniently located near a host of restaurants and shopping centers. And for out-of-town bands, we are fortunate to be just a block away from an extremely affordable weekly-stay hotel and all the amenities you would need for an extended visit.
We service a broad clientele with diverse audio recording needs including recording, mixing, mastering, deep editing and sequencing, restoration, commercial music and more. But as in the past, we specialize in (and love) helping bands and musicians who are looking to create a unique sound get exactly that. We're knowledgeable of, and experienced with, the large variety of techniques used to create the sounds that people are looking for. Our goal here is to help musicians develop a sonically unique recording that matches their musical personalities, avoiding the boring "cookie cutter" sounds you may often hear from other studios.
